Dogcatch out of Rawlins
West of Rock River
The Claim:
When called out of Rawlins to dog catch a westbound train west of Rock River, WY (wx605)
Item O stipulates that for each train caught west of Rock River, you will be paid a trip rate, not a basic day. Timekeeping does not like paying trip rates, but we are one of the few districts with a separate and specific agreement for dog catching out of the away from home terminal.
Be sure to check back a few days after your tieup to double check the payment. Initial they will pay a trip rate, but they will then revert it to a basic day payment. After this, you should submit the following claim.
